How To Play
Here’s how to play Disagreeable —the party game for the opinionated!
The Setup
Each player gets a scorecard, a pencil, and two Voting Cards—one 'Agree' and one 'Disagree.' Shuffle the Statement Cards and place them in the center of the table.
How to Play
There are seven rounds in a game. To start a round, any player can draw a Statement Card and read it aloud. It might say something like:
It’s OK to take your shoes off on an airplane.
People should split the bill on a first date.
I could survive a zombie apocalypse.
No questions or clarifications are allowed—you have to rely on your own interpretation of the statement. Once the statement is read, all players secretly write down whether they agree or disagree, and then predict how many players (including yourself) will agree. You also must predict one other player who will definitely agree. If you think no one will agree, you can write “No One,” or if you think you are the only one who will agree, write “Just Me.”
The Reveal
When everyone’s ready, it’s time for the big reveal! Players reveal their Agree or Disagree cards simultaneously. Now, let the debates and discussions unfold!
Scoring
Players can earn up to 2 points in each round. If you correctly predicted the number of players who agreed, you score a point. If you also correctly guessed someone who definitely agreed, that’s another point. The game is played over 7 rounds, and the player with the most points at the end wins!
